Shopify Store Data: When you install AI 3000 PRO, we access and collect the following information from your Shopify store via the Shopify API:

• Store name, URL, and contact information
• Product catalog (names, descriptions, prices, inventory, images)

• Customer data (names, email addresses, purchase history - only as needed to respond to chat inquiries)
• Store policies (shipping, refund, and other customer-facing policies)

Chat Interaction Data: We collect and store all chat conversations between your customers and the AI chatbot, including:

• Customer messages and questions
• AI-generated responses
• Chat timestamps and session data
• Customer IP addresses and browser information

Usage Data: We automatically collect analytics about how the app is used, including chat volume, response times, and feature usage.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

• Provide AI-powered customer support responses based on your store's products and policies
• Process and respond to customer inquiries about orders, products, and store information
• Improve our AI models and chatbot accuracy
• Generate analytics and insights about customer interactions
• Ensure the security and integrity of our service
• Comply with legal obligations and Shopify's policies

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers using industry-standard encryption (AES-256 for data at rest, TLS 1.2+ for data in transit). We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Data Retention: We retain chat conversation data for 90 days unless you request earlier deletion. Store and product data is retained only while the app is installed and for 30 days after uninstallation to facilitate potential reinstallation.

4. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

We do not sell your data to third parties. We may share data with the following service providers who assist in operating our platform:

AI/LLM Providers: We use third-party AI services (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) to power the chatbot. Customer messages and store data are sent to these providers to generate responses. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies.
Hosting Providers: Cloud infrastructure providers who host our servers
Analytics Services: To track app performance and usage metrics

All third-party service providers are contractually obligated to maintain data confidentiality and security.

5. Compliance with Shopify Policies

AI 3000 PRO complies with Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and API Terms of Service. We only access Shopify data necessary to provide our service and in accordance with your granted permissions.

6. GDPR & International Data Transfers

If you or your customers are located in the European Union, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including:

• Right to access your personal data
• Right to rectification of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to data portability
• Right to object to processing

Data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your region. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

• Delete your data (note: this will disable chatbot functionality)
• Export your chat conversation history
• Opt out of analytics data collection

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Shopify admin dashboard. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
